Biography
Rafic Daud is the co-founder of the Portuguese start-up Undandy, the direct to customer, men’s dress shoe brand. Since 2016, he has been dedicated full-time to the fast-growing company.
Undandy has seen an exponential growth in the last two years under Rafic’s helm, and has gone from selling 100 pairs of shoes per month to now, close to 2,000 pairs per month. With a direct customer approach, Undandy offers the ability to customize your shoes, using an online 3D design platform and has sold to over 100 countries. All of the shoes are handcrafted the traditional way in São João da Madeira, the capital of footwear in Portugal.
Rafic is an serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in cosmetics, hospitality and real estate. He speaks 10 languages and is a member of the exclusive Maverick 1000 network, as well as lecturing at Catholica University in Lisbon. When he has free time, Rafic enjoys playing tennis and chess.
